It has a genuine part-time 4WD system with a manual-shift transfer case that includes a low-ratio gear, a proper off-road setup, not simply an all-wheel drive system designed for road use.
The Thar is rated for a water wading depth of 650 mm with ground clearance of 226 mm, and an approach angle of 41.2 degrees and a departure angle of 36 degrees.
Yes, both are supported on the 26.03 cm touchscreen. On the top variant, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work both wired and wirelessly. On the base, connectivity is wired only.
The current Thar comes with dual front airbags as standard across variants. Side body and curtain airbags are not offered.
