Volkswagen India is gearing up to launch the facelift version of its Taigun compact SUV on April 9. The German automaker first launched the Taigun in 2021, and it has been spotted testing multiple times.
Recently, the upcoming Taigun facelift was spotted during nighttime testing and as per a report from 91Wheels, the upcoming model will come with a revised exterior design and is expected to get a new gearbox as well.

As per the recent spyshots, the front profile gets a new design. It can be seen that the new model will come with a revised design for the headlamp, connected LED DRL and an illuminated VW logo. On the lower side, it will feature a revamped bumper, giving it a more sophisticated design and modern appearance.
At the sides, the overall silhouette remains identical to the current Taigun. It will continue to get semi-chrome door handles and functional roof rails to give it a more sportier appearance.
Coming to the rear, the LED taillamps will become sharper and will continue to have a connected treatment. Moreover, from the spyshots, it is visible that it will have a chrome strip on the lower part of the bumper, giving it a premium appearance.

The upcoming Volkswagen Taigun facelift is expected to carry over a similar interior layout, but with new colours and design for the upholstery.
It is expected to get upgraded features, such as massage seats, a panoramic sunroof, a dual-zone climate control, driving modes, and more.

The upcoming Volkswagen Taigun facelift is expected to continue with the same 1.0L TSI and 1.5L TSI EVO petrol engines. However, it could likely get the new 8-speed automatic gearbox like its sibling, the Skoda Kushaq.

We expect the price of the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun facelift to start around ₹10.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant.
