VinFast India is set to launch its next model, the VF MPV 7, in India, and the automaker will foray into the electric multi-purpose vehicle segment. The Vietnamese automaker will announce the price of its product tomorrow. It is a seven-seater electric vehicle, and Vinfast says it is aimed at families and fleet buyers seeking a spacious and practical alternative to conventional MPVs. Earlier, we spotted a test mule of the VF MPV 7 in New Delhi, and got the hint of its upcoming features and design cues. The model is likely to compete with the Kia Carens Clavis EV and the BYD eMax 7 in the segment.

What is the expected price of the Vinfast VF MPV 7?
We expect the price of the VF MPV 7 to start around ₹18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the bookings have already commenced for the VF MPV 7.
How much range will the upcoming Vinfast VF MPV 7 deliver?
The VF MPV 7 will be powered by a 60kWh battery pack, which is expected to offer a range of around 500km. Regarding its performance, the electric motor is expected to make close to 150 bhp, which we think is adequate for both city driving and highway use. Fast-charging capability is also anticipated, allowing quicker turnaround times for users.

What are the expected features in the upcoming Vinfast VF MPV 7?
The upcoming VF MPV 7 is anticipated to include a range of modern convenience features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a dual-zone climate control, and a heads-up display, among others. Regarding safety, it is likely to come with Level 2 ADAS and seven airbags. ABS with EBD, traction control, hill hold assist, TPMS, and others.

Currently, Vinfast offers the VF 6 and the VF 7. The VF 6 is an entry-level EV SUV, offered with a single battery pack and multiple colour options, and the VF 7 is a premium EV SUV, offered with two battery packs. Both EV SUVs have scored a five-star safety rating in the Bharat NCAP.
