Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for an exciting year in 2026, with a focus on EVs, facelifts to popular models, and possible hybrid and flex-fuel options.
Below is a detailed look at anticipated launches, based on recent reports and test mule sightings. Launch dates/timelines and features remain speculative for unconfirmed models.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift

Having been launched in mid-2022, the Maruti Brezza is due for an update. Multiple spy shots have revealed the facelifted model undergoing testing, with a launch expected by March or April 2026.
Changes to this facelift will include styling tweaks to the front and rear, new alloy wheels, and likely an underbody CNG tank for better boot space, inspired by the Victoris. The interior could see some changes and upgrades as well.
It is expected to retain the 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech, adding features like a 360-degree camera and possible Level 2 ADAS.
Pricing is expected to range from ₹8.50 lakh to ₹14 lakh, continuing to compete against rivals like the Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift

The Baleno facelift was recently spotted, and it appears to adopt a design language similar to the new Dzire, with a more squared-off look.
The testing phase suggests that the launch is likely near, and we can expect some news in the coming weeks. It will likely be powered by a three-cylinder engine similar to the Swift and Dzire, based on the Z-series architecture.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Flex Fuel

Showcased at the Japan Mobility Show in 2025, the Fronx flex fuel is expected to debut in the second half of 2026.
It supports up to E85 ethanol blends, without major design changes. The 1.2L engine could be adapted for flex-fuel, retaining all its current features and safety aids. If and when launched, the Fronx FFV could become a popular choice, considering the Government’s sudden, rapid push towards increased ethanol-blended petrol.
Expected pricing is around ₹8 to ₹13 lakh, a noticeable premium over the standard Fronx.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara 7-Seater

Spy images indicate a 7-seater Grand Vitara launching mid-to-late 2026, possibly as the Grand Vitara 3-row. Apart from an expected increase in length and wheelbase, it could see design changes to differentiate itself from its standard 5-seater version. It may offer 6 or 7-seater configurations.
The mild and strong hybrid powertrains will likely be borrowed from the standard Grand Vitara.
Features could also carry over from the 5-seater version, in addition to Level 2 ADAS suite.
Pricing could range from ₹12 lakh to slightly over ₹20 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Flex Fuel

The Wagon R flex fuel, showcased earlier on multiple occasions, is also finally expected to launch in 2026. It could adapt the 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre engines for E85 compatibility, focusing on affordability and efficiency.
No major exterior changes are expected, with features like basic infotainment and safety kits also retained.
Prices for the Wagon R flex fuel could range from ₹6 lakh to ₹8 lakh ex-showroom.
