Major car manufacturers have much-awaited models in their pipelines, preparing for a launch this year. Here is every car whose launch timeline have been confirmed by carmaker
| Car Name | Expected Price (Ex-Showroom) | Launch Date |
|---|---|---|
| Toyota Ebella EV | 18 lakhs | May-June 2026 |
| Honda City Facelift | 12 lakhs | May 22 |
| Honda ZR V | 50 lakhs | May 22 |
| Nissan Tekton | 10 - 19 lakhs | July 2026 |
| Jetour T2 | 40 lakhs | Q3 2026 |
Toyota Urban Cruiser E-Bella

Toyota and Maruti badge engineering love story continues, eBella being a rebodied e Vitara. Its battery pack specs etc are all similar to e-Vitara like 49 or 61 kWh battery options with up to 543 km range, 171 bhp, and 189 Nm torque
Toyota will likely release it in next couple of months if all goes according to plan. It could come with a BaaS model, just like e Vitara and might start at 10.99 lakhs plus minus few thousands here and there.
Honda City Facelift and ZR-V

Honda has just confirmed that both its sedan refresh and a brand new ZR-V will arrive on May 22. Now don’t expect too much from the facelift, it will be just a minor cosmetic nip and tuck with new colors and a reprofiled touchscreen. The real Honda City will be the 8th generation unit, still a couple of years away.
The ZR-V is already on sale globally, and there it comes with 1.5 L to 2.0 L engines, all mated to eCVT. It’s a premium hybrid as per Honda, so expect premium pricing, maybe 40–50 lakhs.
Nissan Tekton

Nissan India's Managing Director recently confirmed that the Tekton will be revealed on July 9. Though, a launch with full price reveal is expected later by August.
A spiritual successor of the Terrano, this SUV will also share its underpinnings with the Renault Duster. It is expected to get the same 1.0-litre and 1.3-litre turbo petrol engines as well, paired to a manual or DCT, with a hybrid likely to arrive by Diwali.
Likely to be priced between Rs 10 lakh to Rs 19 lakh, it will enter one of the most competitive SUV segments.
Jetour T2

This tricky sounding humongous SUV will be Jetour’s first entry into India. Now Jetour has confirmed that it will be in India this year, that’s it.
They are most probably waiting for Diwali season when most buyers go for car shopping. Its parent JSW has plans to open experience centers here, so it’s the real deal.
Now as for specs, it will be a hybrid, that’s for sure. It comes in tons of configurations in China, FWD, AWD, dual motor hybrid, triple motor hybrid with power ranging from 180 to 600 hp. Mind bending, really.
But one thing is for sure, it will launch in Fortuner rivaling price bracket and will have some serious off road hardware, much like the upcoming Majestor.
