With the recent introduction of the Neo Drive variant, Toyota has added mild hybrid variants in the Fortuner and Fortuner Legender lineup. Now, the Japanese automaker has set its eyes on the non-hybrid variants and has made some significant changes in both the pricing and the model lineup.
Increased Pricing
The first significant change made to the Fortuner lineup is the increase in price. The base variant Fortuner, which is the Petrol 4X2 variant, gets a price hike of Rs 68,000, while the Diesel variants like 4X2 MT, 4X2 AT, 4X4 MT, and the GR-S 4X4 AT get a price hike of Rs 40,000.
The Fortuner Legender also gets a price hike of Rs 40,000 on its Diesel 4X2 AT and 4X4 MT variants. The prices for the recently introduced Neo Drive variants on both the Fortuner and Legender remain unchanged.

Other Changes
Toyota has made significant changes to its lineup. The previously available Fortuner Diesel 4X4 AT and Legender Diesel 4X4 AT had been replaced by the Neo Drive variants. Now, customers will have to pay an extra sum of Rs 15,000 for the Platinum White Pearl exterior finish.
The newly introduced mild hybrid variants bring the much-needed tech features to the Fortuner Lineup like a 360-degree camera, a wireless smartphone charger, and terrain modes: Mud, Sand, Rock, Dirt, and Snow.
