The Tata Tiago was spotted with a facelift being tested on roads. The heavily camouflaged test mule gave some indication of the design and feature changes planned for the entry-level hatchback.
Here's everything you need to know:
Upcoming Tata Tiago Facelift Exterior
As per recent spyshots, changes are likely to give the Tiago a more aggressive face, in line with Tata’s current design language. The front of the facelift is expected to get a slimmer grille, redesigned headlamps and a new bumper.
At the sides, it will now ride on freshly styled alloy wheels, adding a sporty touch to the overall silhouette.
Coming to the rear, the test mule showed a redesigned tailgate, new LED taillamps and a flatter bumper.
Tata is also expected to introduce new colour options with interesting names, in line with the approach used on the Sierra and Punch.

Upcoming Tata Tiago Facelift Interior, Features & Safety
While the interior could not be seen, the facelift is likely to include a refreshed dashboard layout with a digital instrument cluster and an upgraded touchscreen infotainment system. A touch-based climate control panel, like the one found on other Tata models, is also expected.
Feature additions are likely to include a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen, an improved sound system and ambient lighting. The car will continue to offer automatic climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and cruise control.
On the safety side, the facelift could get 6 airbags and a 360-degree camera, along with electronic stability control (ESC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and hill start assist.
Upcoming Tata Tiago Facelift Engine Specifications
The facelift's powertrain is expected to remain unchanged. The current 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 85 hp and 113 Nm and comes with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT. The CNG variant however drops to 74 hp and 96.5 Nm on CNG mode, paired with the same transmissions.
Also, Tata may add a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, similar to the one introduced in the Punch facelift. This unit is expected to deliver 118 hp and 170 Nm with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Upcoming Tata Tiago Facelift Price & Rivals
This will be the first major update to the Tiago hatchback since the model-year update in January 2025. The facelift is expected to go on sale in the third quarter of 2026. Prices are likely to see a slight increase over the current range of Rs 4.57 lakh to Rs 7.82 lakh (ex-showroom).
The facelifted Tiago will continue to rival the Maruti Swift, Citroen C3 and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
