Tata is doing all it can to build the hype before the official reveal of the Sierra EV, which is just 3 days away. The latest teaser shows the Sierra EV climbing a 50 degree incline at the famous Tal Moreeb. You may remember it's the awe-inspiring sand dune where heavily modified Nissan Patrols and tuned buggies do their best to climb.
The model shown was the top of the line Sierra EV version with all wheel drive dual motor design. It is essentially the same setup as found in the Harrier EV but detuned slightly in terms of output. The front motor will likely be induction and the rear PMSM.

In the teaser we can clearly see multiple drive modes, a dual panoramic sunroof, and the Boost button, which is also there in the Harrier EV and can be used as long as the battery has at least 50 percent of charge left.
Sure this is just a marketing stunt, but nonetheless highlights that the Sierra EV is just as capable as the Harrier EV, but at a significantly lower price point of expected 18 lakhs.
More teasers and details will be revealed soon and we will keep you updated.
