The new Tata Punch EV is a pretty solid upgrade and shows noticeable improvement in almost every department. The Smart 30 variant sits around ₹9.69 lakh ex showroom, while pricing goes up to ₹12.59 lakh for the top Empowered Plus S LR. With the BaaS option, the entry price drops to ₹6.49 lakh, which is about ₹3.2 lakh lower upfront, and the battery subscription is priced at ₹2.6 per km.
Assured buyback offers 60% value after 3 years or 40% after 5 years via third-party insurers. Variants include Smart, Smart Plus, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered Plus S, with options for 30 kWh or 40 kWh packs. Finance schemes, EMI calculators, and exchange offers are available through dealers.
What you need to know about the base Tata Punch is that any 30 kWh model is not eligible for the lifetime warranty. This is honestly one of the most absurd things in the lineup structure and clearly feels like it is designed to push buyers toward the bigger battery pack
