The current Kia Seltos has been a strong performer in the mid-size SUV segment, appreciated for its bold design, premium interiors, and wide range of powertrain options. It is offered with three engine choices: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol producing around 115 PS and 144 Nm of torque, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol delivering about 160 PS and 253 Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel unit making roughly 115 PS and 250 Nm.
Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, CVT automatic for the base petrol, 7-speed DCT for the turbo petrol, and a 6-speed torque converter automatic for the diesel.
Feature highlights on higher trims include a large touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, advanced safety systems, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and multiple drive modes. While the upcoming Seltos is expected to bring design updates, enhanced safety tech, and a more modern cabin, the outgoing version remains a well-rounded package.
