The Hyundai i20 Knight Edition has officially arrived in India as a special variant of the premium hatchback, focusing on dark design elements while keeping the mechanicals unchanged. It is offered on the Sportz (O) and Asta (O) trims.
Engine and Performance

Under the hood, the i20 Knight Edition uses the same 1.2-litre petrol engine as the standard i20. This motor delivers about 83 hp and can be paired with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission.

Features and Styling

The Knight Edition differentiates itself through exclusive cosmetic upgrades. On the outside, it features an all-black theme with blacked-out grille, Hyundai logo, skid plates, and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels finished in black with red brake calipers.
The cabin follows the same dark theme, offering black upholstery with brass-coloured inserts, sporty metal pedals, and Knight Edition emblems.

These touches give the hatchback a sportier, more aggressive road presence compared to the regular trims.
Price and Availability

Hyundai has priced the i20 Knight Edition starting at ₹9.15 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Sportz (O) manual variant.
The CVT version and higher Asta (O) trim are priced higher, while the i20 N Line Knight Edition is available from ₹11.43 lakh onwards. The car is now on sale across Hyundai dealerships in India, giving buyers a stylish alternative to the standard i20 without a significant price jump.
