The facelift gets an all-new front fascia with sharper styling and aerodynamic improvements. Honda has added integrated connected lighting, new DRLs and Bi-LED projector headlamps which are now standard across variants. Honda claims the lighting setup offers nearly double the beam spread compared to before.
At the rear, the sedan gets gloss black garnish elements, diffuser-style styling and new AeroBlade alloy wheels finished in dark clear coat treatment.
Interior And Features

Inside, the updated City gets a redesigned cabin with a new digital gauge cluster, ambient lighting and ivory leather upholstery. Honda has also added dashboard lighting, floor illumination and center console lighting to improve cabin ambience.

The sedan now offers ventilated front seats, lounge-style rear seats, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, USB Type-C charging ports, wireless charger and a one-touch electric sunroof. Honda also claims the new ventilation setup is 40 percent more effective than before.
Engine Options And Hybrid Technology

Under the hood, the 2026 Honda City continues with the familiar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 121hp and 145Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed CVT automatic transmission. Honda is also continuing with the 1.5-litre e:HEV strong hybrid powertrain paired to an e-CVT gearbox, producing 126hp and 253Nm of torque.
The hybrid system supports EV Drive, Hybrid Drive and Engine Drive modes. Honda claims a fuel efficiency figure of 27.26kmpl for the hybrid variant and is now offering a new 5-year warranty on all hybrid components.
Safety And ADAS, Warranty Features
Honda has introduced Level 2 Honda Sensing ADAS across both petrol and hybrid variants of the City. Features include automatic emergency braking, lane sensing assist, TPMS, six airbags and LaneWatch camera.
Honda has also introduced a new 360-degree camera with moving obstacle detection and parking hazard warning functions.
