MG Motor India is all set to reveal the prices of its new flagship SUV, the Majestor in the coming days. According to our sources, the prices of it are expected to come out in May 2026.
We expect it to be priced between Rs 39.9 lakh and Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom) - a slight premium over the Gloster's price range, which ranges from Rs 38.3 lakh to Rs 43.7 lakh.
In terms of design, the Majestor has a boxy and commanding look. It features a large Mosaic Matrix grille, tri-beam LED headlights with distinctive Dragon Eye LED daytime running lamps, 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, side steps, and connected LED taillights at the back.

Inside the cabin, it comes with dual 12.3-inch screens for the infotainment and driver display, a panoramic sunroof, a 12-speaker JBL sound system, three-zone climate control, ventilated and massaging front seats, 64-colour ambient lighting, and a powered tailgate.
It will be available in both 6-seater and 7-seater layouts, making it ideal for large families.
Under the hood, the Majestor uses a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that produces 215 bhp and a strong 478.5 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions are available, with the 4x4 drivetrain getting serious off-road capability with a low-range transfer case, three locking differentials, multiple terrain modes (Normal, Sand, Mud, Rock, and Snow), and a water-wading depth of up to 810 mm. The low-speed assist and hill descent control further improve its rough-road performance.
