Mercedes-Benz has relaunched the V-Class luxury MPV in India. The model returns after a four-year absence, with prices starting at ₹1.40 crore (ex-showroom). It is locally assembled at the Chakan plant in Pune.
Deliveries will begin by the end of March 2026, and bookings are now open.

The India-spec V-Class comes only in the extra-long-wheelbase version. It measures 5,370 mm in length, 1,928 mm in width and 1,880 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,430 mm.
This is the longest wheelbase in any Mercedes passenger vehicle sold in the country. The large size ensures plenty of space inside.
Outside, the V-Class adopts AMG Line styling as standard.
It includes a prominent three-pointed star grille, multi-beam LED headlights, sporty bumpers and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Electrically operated sliding rear doors and a split tailgate with openable glass add convenience.

The cabin focuses on rear-seat luxury. It offers 4-seater or 6-seater layouts.
The 4-seater has captain seats with extendable leg rests, heating, ventilation and massage functions. The 6-seater provides flexible middle-row options, either facing forward or rearward.
Features include twin 12.3-inch screens for the driver and infotainment, MBUX system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, three-zone climate control, 64-colour ambient lighting, powered and ventilated front seats, and a 15-speaker Burmester audio system with Dolby Atmos.
Rear passengers get sunshades, USB ports and wireless charging.
Available colours include Rock Crystal White, Obsidian Black, Sodalite Blue, Alpine Grey and High-Tech Silver. Interiors come in black or beige Lugano leather.
Power comes from two engine choices.
The V300d diesel uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo unit that produces 233-237 hp. The V300 petrol features a 2.0-litre engine with mild-hybrid support, delivering around 231-248 hp.
Both engines pair with a smooth 9-speed automatic transmission.

Safety equipment comprises seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS features, adaptive cruise control, tyre-pressure monitoring and a driver-monitoring system. The Airmatic air suspension with adaptive damping is standard and tuned for Indian roads.
The V-Class targets buyers seeking ultimate comfort and space. It competes directly with the Toyota Vellfire and Lexus LM in the premium MPV segment.
