Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the e Vitara at ₹10.99 lakh under the Battery as a Service (BaaS) model.
Although the detailed prices of all the variants have not been revealed officially, the e Vitara, including the battery, will start from ₹15.99 lakh ex-showroom, as per media reports and dealership sources.

The e Vitara is available in three main variants - Delta, Zeta, and Alpha.
The Battery as a Service option will continue with attractive introductory prices valid until March 31, 2026.

Under this plan, the Delta costs ₹10.99 lakh plus a rental fee of ₹3.99 per km. The Zeta and Alpha variants are priced at ₹11.99 lakh and ₹14.29 lakh respectively, with a rental fee of ₹4.39 per km.

The 49 kWh battery in the Delta variant produces 144 hp and offers a claimed range of 440 km. The 61 kWh battery in the Zeta and Alpha variants delivers 174 hp with a higher 543 km range.
Both versions use a single front-wheel-drive motor and support fast charging from 10-80% in around 45 minutes with a 70 kW DC charger.
Every buyer receives a complimentary 7.4 kW home charger with free installation. Owners also get 1,000 units of free charging in the first year through the e for me app, which works at Maruti dealerships and public charging points across the country.

The e Vitara gets a strong feature list, including a 10.25-inch digital driver display, a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity, ventilated front seats, a panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.

Safety highlights include seven airbags and a five-star Bharat NCAP rating.
Bookings for the e Vitara are open at ₹21,000, with deliveries already underway.
