Mahindra's upcoming lifestyle SUV, codenamed the ‘Vision S’, is getting closer to its final shape. Recent spy shots show the test mule looking almost production-ready, giving us a better idea of what to expect when it arrives.
The Vision S sports a traditional, upright and boxy SUV design. It features a flat roof, near-vertical sides, and a squared-off stance that gives it a tough, rugged appearance. A prominent shoulder line, wide track, and chunky cladding add to its muscular look.

Test mules have been seen with the Thar's circular headlamps with integrated DRLs, along with vertical fog lamps and a high, nearly flat bonnet.
Inside, the cabin will have a fresh, utilitarian layout that feels practical and different from other Mahindra models, but is likely to be feature rich with the latest technology.
This new SUV will ride on Mahindra’s advanced NU_IQ platform. It is expected to come with petrol, diesel and fully electric powertrains right from the start. Expect it to borrow its engine options from the XUV 3XO.

Mahindra could reveal the production-ready Vision S around Independence Day, like they usually do with many upcoming models. We expect a possible launch in early 2027.
Likely to be priced around Rs 10.5 - 17.5 lakh, it could stand out in the sub-compact SUV segment with its unique design.
