Thanks to the Instagram user vroomvroommj, (image source) this is our best look at new Mahindra Truck
The upcoming Mahindra pickup truck, built on the Scorpio-N platform and often referred to as the Global Pik Up (or Scorpio X in some markets), is shaping up to be a serious challenger to the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu V-Cross segments. It takes Mahindra’s rugged SUV DNA and translates it into a versatile double-cab pickup that’s equally at home on rough trails or daily drives.

Under the hood, expect a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine tuned to deliver around 170–175 hp and roughly 400 Nm of torque, paired to either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. Four-wheel drive with multiple terrain modes (like snow, mud, sand) is likely on higher trims, giving it respectable off-road capability. The same engine has proven itself in the Scorpio-N SUV and should balance power with reliability.

Inside and out, the truck blends comfort and utility. Along with your spotted features like a big 12-inch infotainment screen, 18-inch alloys, rear AC vents, brown leatherette upholstery, pop-up style headlights, and Scorpio-inspired tail lamps, buyers are also expecting modern tech and safety kit.

Price is still unofficial, but Mahindra seems to be positioning this pickup aggressively. Early estimates put the ex-showroom price in India roughly between ₹16 lakh and ₹25 lakh, with some higher trims possibly reaching ₹30 lakh-plus on the road. That makes it hard to ignore for anyone who wants premium pickup capability without paying premium brand price
