Mahindra has launched its latest entry-level EV, the XUV 3XO EV, in two variants, priced at ₹13.89 lakh for the AX5 and ₹14.96 lakh for the AX7L. Both prices are ex-showroom.
Mahindra XUV 3XO EV Battery Specs
The XUV 3XO EV shares its platform with the ICE variants of the 3XO and carries over the 39.4 kWh battery pack from the outgoing XUV400, offering a real-world range of up to 285 km.
It delivers 148 BHP and 310 Nm of torque, offering rapid acceleration, with 0-100km/h in 8.3 seconds.
Mahindra claims a 50-minute charging time for a 0 to 80% charge through a 50 kW DC charger, while a 0 to 100% charge using the 7.2 kW AC home charger should take 6.5 hours.
Exterior Design Changes

The XUV 3XO EV looks identical to the RevX variants of the XUV 3XO, with its body-coloured grille.
The only visual differences between the ICE and EV models are the charging port lid on the front-left fender, small bronze finish elements on the Mahindra logos at the front and rear, EV badge at the rear, grille slats, and the rear bumper.
It features LED projector headlamps, connected LED tail lamps, and diamond-cut alloy wheels that are 16-inch on the AX5 and 17-inch on the AX7L.

Interior
The XUV 3XO EV’s cabin remains largely unchanged from the regular 3XO, with bronze-finished elements on the Mahindra logo on the steering wheel, AC vent surrounds, and door trims as the only visible additions.
It uses soft-touch materials and leatherette upholstery for a premium feel. The dashboard has a horizontal layout with integrated rectangular AC vents and physical controls for ease of use.
Mahindra XUV 3XO EV Features

All features are carried over from the regular 3XO, including 10.25-inch screens for the driver display and central infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with inbuilt navigation, all-LED lighting, dual-zone climate control, auto headlamps and wipers, a wireless charger, and cruise control.
The AX7L variant additionally gets a panoramic sunroof, leatherette upholstery, a 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
Standard safety features include 6 airbags, ESP, electronic parking brake with auto hold, a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring, and front and rear parking sensors.
Mahindra XUV 3XO EV Rivals
The XUV 3XO EV’s main rivals are the Tata Nexon EV (₹12.49 lakh - ₹17.49 lakh ex-showroom) and the MG Windsor EV (₹13.99 lakh - ₹18.39 lakh).
With its competitive pricing, feature-rich cabin, and solid performance, the XUV 3XO EV is a promising electric SUV. Its deliveries are set to start from February 23, 2026.
