Mahindra has relaunched the Batman Edition of its popular BE 6 electric SUV, priced at Rs 28.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This follows overwhelming demand after the original batch of 999 units sold out very shortly after its first release.
The Batman Edition is created in partnership with Warner Bros, and is based on the top-spec Pack Three variant of the BE 6, which comes with a powerful 79 kWh battery pack. This delivers strong performance, with a single rear-mounted motor producing around 282 bhp and 380 Nm of torque.
It offers a real-world range exceeding 500 km, making it suitable for both city drives and longer journeys.

The Batman Edition features a satin black finish, bold Batman-inspired decals and badges, golden brake callipers, and 20-inch black alloys.
Inside, the all-black cabin includes gold accents, seats embossed with bat motifs, and a golden plaque with a unique number for added exclusivity.

These elements give the SUV a bold presence while retaining the core features of the standard BE 6, such as advanced technology, safety systems, and comfort. The BE 6 has achieved a Bharat NCAP 5-star safety rating for both adult and child occupant protection.
Due to continued interest in the Batman Edition, Mahindra will reopen bookings for a limited time.

Bookings will start on 10 March 2026 at 11 am and remain open for only 24 hours. The number of units produced this time will depend on the bookings received. Deliveries are expected to begin in April.
At Rs 28.49 lakh, the Batman Edition costs Rs 70,000 more than its 2025 launch price, and about Rs 1.59 lakh more than the regular Pack Three trim.
The BE 6 competes in the growing electric SUV segment against models like the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, Vinfast VF6, and MG ZS EV.
