Kia India has teased the launch of two new models.
The teaser video simply mentions the terms HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) and BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle), along with a caption that says “One clue. More than one possibility.”
Although the automaker hasn't officially announced the models, they will likely be the Syros EV and the Sorento Hybrid. Here's what we expect.
Kia Syros EV
The Syros EV has been seen testing on Indian roads, indicating an imminent launch. Once launched, it will be Kia India's fourth EV following the Carens Clavis EV, EV6, and EV9.
It will maintain the ICE Syros's boxy shape and vertical profile, featuring EV-specific modifications like updated front and rear designs, aerodynamic alloy wheels, and unique colour options.

The interior features could also be carried over from the ICE Syros, including panoramic sunroof, 360 degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, 30-inch Trinity display, dashcam and more.
Powertrain details remain undisclosed.
Kia Sorento Hybrid
A test mule of the Sorento Hybrid was also caught testing in India. It will likely be Kia's flagship SUV, positioned above the Seltos.
This three-row SUV is 4,815 mm long with a 2,815 mm wheelbase and is anticipated to rival models such as the Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tayron R Line, and Jeep Meridian.

The Sorento is expected to come with both six-seat and seven-seating configurations, with premium features like an expansive panoramic sunroof, a Bose sound system, ventilated seating, multi-zone climate control, and an extensive Level 2 ADAS package.
As for the powertrain, a strong hybrid seems to be the most probable choice. Kia might also look into a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) option, and a traditional petrol engine option cannot be ruled out either.
