Kia India Records Best-Ever April With 27,286 Units Sold and 16% Growth

Kia India has achieved its highest-ever April wholesale performance since starting operations in the country. The automaker dispatched 27,286 units in April 2026, marking 16% year-on-year growth from 23,623 units in April 2025.
The company's year-to-date (YTD) performance also showed strong upward movement. Kia recorded sales of 111,611 units during this period, representing 13% growth over the 99,199 units sold in the same period last year.

The Seltos remained the primary volume driver for the brand, contributing to over 41% of total sales.
Both the Seltos and the Sonet surpassed the 10,000-unit monthly sales mark, indicating high demand in the compact SUV segment. The Sonet accounted for 36% of the brand's monthly volume, while the Carens line-up maintained a steady 20% share.
Commenting on these figures, Mr. Atul Sood, Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Kia India, said,
“Our highest-ever April performance builds on the steady growth we have seen over the past several months. This momentum is being led by the new Kia Seltos, with Sonet and Carens along with Clavis continuing to strengthen our presence across key segments through ongoing enhancements."

Kia currently offers nine models in India. These include the Sonet, Syros, Seltos, Carens, Carens Clavis, Carens Clavis EV, Carnival, EV6, and EV9. More models are expected in the coming years.
