Kia India has launched the 2026 update of the Carens Clavis EV from ₹17.99 lakh.
The update introduces a new 6-seater configuration and two new trim levels, GT-Line and X-Line, for the Extended Range variant.
The new 6-seater layout features second-row captain seats and is available in select trims, including HTX (E), HTX, HTX+, GTX, GTX+, and X-Line. The 7-seater configuration continues to be offered on GTX, GTX+, and X-Line variants for larger families or group travel.
The 2026 Carens Clavis EV also includes a Dual-Pane Panoramic Sunroof for an enhanced in-cabin feel.
The Electric MPV comes in seven colours: Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Gray, Aurora Black Pearl, Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, Ivory Silver Matte, and the new Dark Gun Metal (exclusive to X-Line Extended Range).

As more customers transition to EVs, their expectations are evolving beyond technology to include greater comfort, flexible seating and distinctive design. The MY26 reflects this feedback with new trims and a 6-seater configuration that enhances comfort and versatility while retaining the practicality Indian customers value.”

Kia Carens Clavis EV GT-Line Trims
The GT-Line trims, named GTX and GTX+, are now offered on the Extended Range variant in both 6 and 7-seater configurations. These trims focus on a sportier appearance with several distinctive styling updates.
Key elements include a new alloy wheel design, lime brake callipers, and metal pedals. The GTX+ variant also adds next-generation features such as Digital Key and battery heater technology.

The X-Line trim is also introduced for the Extended Range variant and is available in both 6 and 7-seater layouts. It features an exclusive Dark Gun Metal exterior colour, paired with Aurora Black Pearl as another option.
Like the GTX+, the X-Line includes advanced features such as Digital Key and battery heater technology.
Kia Carens Clavis EV Battery Specifications and Charging

The Carens Clavis EV comes with two battery packs: a 51.4 kWh unit delivering an ARAI-certified range of 490 km (MIDC Full) and a 42 kWh unit offering 404 km.
The vehicle is powered by motors producing 99 kW or 126 kW with 255 Nm torque, and supports fast charging from 10% to 80% in 39 minutes.
Kia’s EV ecosystem supports owners through the MyKia app’s K-Charge platform, which provides access to over 15,000 charging points, live charger status, route planning, and simple payments. More than 100 dealerships have DC fast chargers, backed by over 267 EV-ready workshops.

Kia Carens Clavis EV Safety Features
Safety features cover six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), and a total of 18 advanced systems.
The cabin includes a 67.62 cm (26.62-inch) dual panoramic display and more than 85 connected-car features.
