JSW Motors has teased its upcoming SUV for the Indian market, based on the Jetour T2 from China's Chery Automobile.
This marks the company's first independent model in the passenger vehicle segment, separate from its existing partnership with MG Motor India.
The teaser shows the front profile of the rugged SUV. It features circular LED headlamp units with horizontal LED daytime running lights, pixel-style LED fog lamps, a bold upright bonnet, chunky wheel arches, and a tough bumper.
The overall front profile looks boxy like traditional SUVs, with an off-road appeal.

The SUV is likely to be the Jetour T2 i-DM, a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant. Reports indicate a 1.5-litre engine paired with electric motors, a 26.7 kWh battery for up to 130 km of electric-only range, and fast charging capabilities.
It will be a 5-seater built on a monocoque chassis, measuring around 4.7 metres in length. Some sources mention possible 4x4 options.

The cabin could borrow elements from the Jetour T2, featuring an upright, practical layout with a wide, layered dashboard that reflects its off-road character.
Key highlights may include a large central touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity for navigation, media, and vehicle controls. The driver could get a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel.

JSW Motors has partnered with Chinese carmaker Chery to bring this model to India. It is expected to launch around Diwali 2026, with production taking place locally at the company's new facility in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad), Maharashtra.
Pricing is anticipated in the ₹15 lakh to ₹30 lakh range, positioning it as a potentially affordable plug-in hybrid in the mainstream segment.
It could compete with models like the MG Hector, Mahindra XUV 7XO and Tata Harrier.
