The Jetour T2, the SUV that JSW Motor is set to bring to India, has earned a 5-star safety rating from ASEAN NCAP, tested in December 2025 under the organisation's stringent 2021–2025 protocol. It is the first-ever Jetour model to be assessed by ASEAN NCAP. Tested at the CAERI laboratory in its China-origin, 2.0 TD-engined form, the T2 recorded an impressive overall score of 86.50 out of 100.

Jetour T2 Adult Occupancy Rating
Breaking that down, the SUV scored 29.74 out of 32 in Adult Occupant Protection, with the frontal occupant compartment remaining stable during the offset crash test and the driver's chest recording adequate protection.
Jetour T2 Child Occupancy Rating
Talking about child occupant protection, it was at 40.63 out of 51 points, while the Safety Assist and Motorcyclist Safety pillars contributed 18.00 and 13.00 points.
What are the safety features in the Jetour T2?
On the safety equipment front, every variant of the T2 comes standard with 6 airbags, ABS, Electronic Stability Control, Seatbelt Reminder systems for all occupants, Rear Seat Occupant Detection, Blind Spot Detection on both sides, Pedestrian Protection, Child Presence Detection (CPD), and ISOFIX child seat anchor points.
Additionally, technologies such as Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and Auto High Beam are available as optional fitment.
