Hyundai Venue Scores 5-Star Safety Rating in Bharat NCAP - WATCH

The Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line have secured a perfect 5-star safety rating in the latest Bharat NCAP crash tests.
The results apply to the entire variant lineup of the sub-compact SUV.
Hyundai Venue Adult Occupant Protection

The Venue earned 31.15 out of 32 points in adult occupant protection.
It demonstrated excellent structural integrity and performed well in both frontal and side impact tests. The frontal offset deformable barrier test delivered strong protection, while the side movable deformable barrier and pole impact tests confirmed robust side crash performance.
Both driver and front passenger dummies received good protection to critical body areas, reflecting effective restraint systems and a well-engineered safety structure.

Hyundai Venue Child Occupant Protection

The child occupant protection scored 44.46 out of 49 points.
The dynamic test portion achieved near-perfect results, supported by excellent child restraint system installation and solid vehicle assessment scores.
Tests with 18-month-old and three-year-old child dummies in appropriate restraints showed reliable performance in both frontal and side impact conditions.

Hyundai Venue Safety Features

The Venue comes equipped with a robust safety package across all variants.
Standard features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability management (VSM), hill-start assist, a TPMS, seat belt pre-tensioners and load limiters, ISOFIX child seat anchors, rear parking sensors, and seat belt reminders for all occupants.
Higher variants add a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, and Level 2 ADAS.

The Hyundai Venue is priced from ₹7.99 lakh to ₹15.69 lakh.
This safety rating makes it a stronger contender in the Sub-compact SUV space, competing against rivals like the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet, and the Maruti Brezza.
