Hyundai Is Offering Upto ₹90,000 Off This January

As of January 2026, Hyundai India is offering substantial consumer benefits across its lineup to clear remaining Model Year 2025 (MY25) inventory and offset the 0.6% price hike implemented on January 1. 

These offers vary significantly, with the highest savings available on the Exter and i20, while high-demand models like the Creta receive more conservative support.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios

The Grand i10 Nios remains a key volume driver for Hyundai, and these January offers are strategically aimed at first-time urban buyers and existing Santro or older i10 owners. The "Additional for Upgrade" bonus specifically incentivizes brand retention. While the base Era trim receives lower benefits (around ₹67,500), the manual and CNG variants carry the highest incentives to compete with the Maruti Swift and Tata Tiago in the cost-conscious hatchback segment.

Hyundai Aura

The Hyundai Aura offers more modest benefits compared to its hatchback sibling, reflecting its stable demand in the compact sedan and commercial fleet sectors. The primary focus for January is on CNG variants (S and SX), which receive stronger upfront value to appeal to high-mileage professional commuters. While retail buyers get up to ₹41,000 in direct consumer offers, some MY25 stock units may carry higher cumulative benefits including GST-linked reductions to clear dealer lots.

Hyundai i20 & i20 N Line

The i20 premium hatchback is one of the most heavily discounted models this month, with total benefits reaching ₹1 Lakh for specific manual variants. This aggressive pricing is designed to counter competition from the Maruti Baleno and Tata Altroz, while the N Line variants maintain slightly lower discounts to protect their performance-oriented positioning. These offers are particularly lucrative for buyers upgrading from smaller hatchbacks, thanks to the substantial ₹25,000 upgrade incentive.

Hyundai Exter

The Exter leads Hyundai’s January 2026 savings list, with some dealership-level schemes for MY25 stock reaching as high as ₹1.69 Lakh when combined with historic GST reductions. For general consumers, the ₹95,000 package is largely focused on the mid-range SX and SX(O) trims. The strategy here is to maintain momentum in the micro-SUV segment against the Tata Punch by leveraging high cash discounts and attractive ownership transition pathways for younger buyers.

Hyundai Venue (Old vs. New)

There is a significant divide between Venue offers this month: older MY25 stock (including the 1.2 MT trims) carries up to ₹60,000 in benefits to clear inventory. In contrast, the recently updated MY26 Venue and the N Line version have much more symbolic, loyalty-focused savings usually limited to an exchange bonus. This allows Hyundai to protect the margins of the newer model while liquidating older production units quickly.

Hyundai Verna

The Verna sedan receives a robust ₹80,000 discount package that covers both turbo-petrol and non-turbo variants. These benefits are highly competitive for the segment, often bringing the Verna's effective price close to that of premium hatchbacks. Interestingly, the iVT (CVT) variants typically receive slightly higher weighting in these benefit structures than manual versions, catering to the growing urban preference for automatics in the mid-size sedan space.

Hyundai Creta & Alcazar

The Creta remains Hyundai's bestseller, which explains its relatively modest discounts—often limited to a ₹30,000 scrappage bonus. Because demand remains consistently high, Hyundai does not need to offer heavy cash incentives. The Alcazar, being a premium three-row SUV, offers slightly higher benefits of up to ₹65,000, primarily to attract families who might otherwise consider the Mahindra XUV700 or Tata Safari during the new year buying cycle.
