Citroën India is bringing back the entry-level Live variant of the eC3.
This reintroduction will make the electric cross-hatchback significantly more affordable for a wider range of buyers.
The eC3's technical specifications remain unchanged.
Citroen eC3 Price
According to a report by Carwale, the Live variant will carry a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 10.30 lakh.
This positions it Rs 2.6 lakh below the current entry-level Feel variant, which starts at Rs 12.90 lakh. As a result, the overall starting price of the eC3 will drop once the Live trim returns to showrooms.
The Live variant has already appeared on the Government e-Marketplace platform with 46% localisation, and will be open for both private purchases and fleet sales.
Fleet-specific versions include a speed governor that limits the top speed to 80 kmph for added safety and control in commercial use.

Citroen eC3 Battery Specifications

Powertrain details remain unchanged on the eC3 range. It uses a 57 bhp electric motor that produces 143 Nm of torque.
It pairs with a 29.2 kWh air-cooled LFP battery. This combination gives a 0 to 60 km/h time of 6.8 seconds, and a top speed of 107 km/h.

Citroen eC3 Base Variant Features
Standard equipment on the Live variant includes 195/65 R15 steel wheels, body-coloured outside mirrors, app connectivity, manually adjustable mirrors, front power windows, a digital instrument cluster, a regenerative braking indicator, and fully flat-folding rear seats.
Safety comprises dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, seatbelt reminders, and a high-speed alert system.
While it skips some higher-end comforts found in Feel and Shine trims, it still covers the basics needed for daily driving.
Citroën appears to be targeting fleet operators with this lower-priced option while keeping it open for individual customers. The company is also expected to refresh the Feel and Shine variants soon to bring them in line with updates seen on the petrol C3X model.
The return of the Live variant could help the eC3 compete better in the entry-level electric segment, with rivals such as Tata's Tiago EV and Punch EV.
