- What’s New With The Q7 Signature Edition?
- Under The Hood
With a declared 15% drop in sales in FY25 as compared to FY24, Audi India has rolled up its sleeves and made some enhancements to its flagship Q7 SUV by launching a limited-run model, called the Signature Edition. It is priced on par with the top-tier Technology model at Rs 99.81 lakh, and follows shortly after the A4 Signature Edition was launched just days ago
| Model | Price (ex-Showroom price in INR) |
|---|---|
| Q7 Premium Plus | Rs 90.48 lakh |
| Q7 Bold Edition | Rs 97.84 lakh |
| Q7 Technology | Rs 99.81 lakh |
| Q7 Signature Edition | Rs 99.81 lakh |
The head of Audi India is very confident about the new addition to the lineup, stating, “The Signature Edition takes this legacy further by introducing thoughtfully curated elements that transform the ownership experience into something extraordinary.”
What’s New With The Q7 Signature Edition?
The Audi Q7 Signature Edition is essentially an accessory pack on the Technology model at no extra cost, which sounds interesting and rare to us in the luxury car world. Overall, the model looks familiar to the existing lineup, but there are some distinguishing exterior and interior features on board.
Talking about the exterior changes, the Q7 Signature Edition retains the LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels, and likeable LED tail lamps as well. However, there are subtle changes like self-balancing wheel hubs (just like the RR cars!), premium metallic key cover, and new alloy wheel paint.
Exterior paint colour options include: Mythos Black, Glacier White, Sakhir Gold, Samurai Gray, and Waitomo Blue.
Well, Audi has made a few more changes to the interior than to the exterior. Of course, the interior is the heart of any luxury car, and Audi now offers a few compelling features on board without any additional cost over the Technology variant.
While entering, you are welcomed by the world-renowned four-ring moniker via its inbuilt door puddle lamps. It adds a touch of luxury, letting the world know of your status. It’s something you’ll appreciate more at night than during the daytime.
The Audi dashcam with universal traffic recorder is a must-have, at least in luxury cars, and Audi has added one in the Signature Edition. It can serve as evidence during any mishap and is highly recommended in densely populated countries like India.
Well, this is the most special and segment-first feature of the Audi Q7 Signature Edition. It helps you to sip refreshing coffee without the need to stop at your favorite cafe on long drives.
The Q7 Signature Edition retains the top-notch features of the Technology model like the quad-zone climate control, three-screen Audi Virtual Cockpit with MMI Navigation Plus, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, Bang & Olufsen 3D Premium sound system with 19 speakers and a total output of 730 watts, eight airbags, park-assist, and ADAS features.
Under The Hood
Well, just like the above-mentioned features, the Q7 Signature Edition retains the 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged engine with 48-volt mild-hybrid support. The output stands at 340 PS and 500 Nm. All that power is channeled to all four wheels via the Quattro AWD system via the 8-speed automatic transmission. It can reach the 100 kmph mark in just 5.6 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph.
