The all-new 2026 Toyota Hilux is built on an upgraded ladder-frame inspired by Toyota’s TNGA-F architecture, it blends legendary toughness with modern refinement. The new design looks sharper and more purposeful, featuring slimmer LED headlights, a bold TOYOTA script grille and subtle aerodynamic touches on the electric version.
Inside, the cabin takes a major step up in comfort and technology, with twin 12.3-inch displays, premium materials and connected features like the MyToyota app, wireless charging and over-the-air updates.
For the first time, the Hilux lineup includes a full battery-electric version with dual e-axles and a 59.2 kWh battery, delivering around 240 km of range while keeping its 4x4 strength and one-tonne payload intact.
The popular 48V hybrid diesel option combines performance with efficiency, while traditional diesel and petrol engines remain available for select markets. A hydrogen-powered Hilux is also in the works for 2028.
Set to launch globally in 2025 and expected in India by late 2026, the next-gen Hilux brings the same reliability and ruggedness owners love, now enhanced with electrified power, advanced safety and the comfort of a modern SUV.
