The Hyundai Aura is a 5-seater sedan available in six variants, from the E to the SX (O)/SX+, priced between ₹6.00 lakh and ₹8.54 lakh (ex-showroom).
It is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual or AMT, while select variants also get a CNG option. Claimed fuel efficiency is up to 20 kmpl for petrol and 28 km/kg for CNG.
Standard safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX mounts, while higher variants add ESC and hill-start assist.
Following our variant breakdowns for the Virtus, Slavia, and the City facelift, here is every Aura variant explained:

Aura E

The E variant is ideal if safety tops your priorities over infotainment. Also, with 6 standard airbags, it’s provides good safety.
However, the package is predictably minimal, as it has a manual AC, front power windows, and rear sensors, but no touchscreen, keyless entry, or rear AC vents.

Aura Corporate

The Corporate delivers a massive feature jump over the base E, adding a 6.75-inch touchscreen, rear AC vents, keyless entry, and styled wheels.
Frustratingly, it loses fuel economy MID readings, a baffling omission for efficiency-conscious buyers.
It sits just roughly ₹1,500 under the S. However oddly, its exclusive touchscreen gets replaced by a basic 2-DIN system in the pricier S trim, making the Corporate a surprisingly strong value proposition for tech on a tight budget.

Aura S

Priced roughly ₹1,500 above the Corporate petrol, the S complicates the lineup. It thankfully restores MID fuel economy readings for petrol variants, aiding running cost tracking.

However, it suffers a severe infotainment downgrade, from the Corporate's touchscreen to a basic 2-DIN system. Consequently, the S is best evaluated on its mechanicals, not tech.

Aura SX

The SX is where the Aura becomes a properly loaded car. For roughly ₹78,500 over the S petrol MT, you gain crucial safety additions like ESC and Hill Start Assist.
It resolves lower-trim complaints by adding a rear camera, projector headlamps, an 8-inch wireless touchscreen, and automatic climate control.
Additionally, the SX CNG feels expensive for this segment. Meanwhile, the well-equipped petrol SX MT is the value pick within this tier.
If you are specifically considering the green fuel option, you can see how its efficiency stacks up against the best mileage CNG cars.

Aura SX(O)

The SX(O) caters exclusively to manual drivers seeking the Aura’s ultimate feature set, notably lacking AMT or CNG options.
Over the SX tier, it adds ISOFIX anchors, automatic headlamps, a leather steering wheel, and wireless smartphone connectivity.
Crucially, previously conditional features like wireless charging, cruise control, and full MID readings are standardized here.
It sits roughly ₹19,000 below the SX+ AMT while offering objectively superior equipment. If you drive a manual transmission, passing over the SX(O) is an entirely unjustifiable decision.

Aura SX+

The SX+ exists functionally for one reason: providing an AMT gearbox. For around ₹65,000 over the SX petrol MT, you gain automatic convenience, wireless phone charging, and Eco-coating.
Notably, compared to the top-spec SX(O), which is around ₹19,000 cheaper, the SX+ completely misses ISOFIX anchors, automatic headlamps, a leather steering wheel, and surprisingly reverts to wired smartphone connectivity.
The SX+ only wins if you strictly require an automatic transmission. Otherwise, the cheaper SX(O) manual delivers a significantly more complete, feature-rich package for less money. You may also check out the most affordable automatic cars in India under 10 lakh.

Regardless of variant, every Aura delivers an exceptional safety baseline: 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, 3-point belts, and rear parking sensors. It drastically reshapes the safety against rivals like the Dzire or Amaze, despite an expected 2-star Global NCAP platform rating, as the Grand i10 NIOS.

Standard comforts include power steering, front power windows, and a height-adjustable driver’s seat.
Externally, all trims share LED taillamps and a rear chrome garnish.
Most importantly, performance entirely depends on fuel choice: the 1.2-litre petrol delivers 83 PS, while the city-focused bi-fuel CNG drops slightly to 69 PS.
Warranty, Dealerships, And EMI Of Hyundai Aura
The Hyundai Aura comes with a standard warranty of 3 years or 100,000 km, whichever occurs earlier. This covers defects in material and workmanship, including repair or replacement of most mechanical and electrical components at no cost at authorized dealerships.
Whereas, extended warranty is available up to 7 years for additional coverage, but only for petrol variants. Additionally, complimentary 24x7 3-year roadside assistance (RSA) is provided during the warranty period.
