The e:HEV at ₹21.07 lakh is a categorically different driving experience from the petrol City, where Honda's two-motor strong hybrid system produces 253 Nm, while the petrol makes 145 Nm, meaning the e:HEV should pull away from a standstill with a surge the naturally aspirated engine would not match.

Feature wise, it exclusively gets an electric parking brake with auto brake hold, all-four-wheel disc brakes, Low Speed Follow (stop-and-go adaptive cruise), and the centre console wireless charger tray, none of which are available even on the ZX+ petrol.

The catch is its price. The e:HEV makes sense if your running is high, your state gives a road-tax benefit, otherwise you simply want the smoothest City regardless of payback.
