Thor Drake of See See Motorcycles recently unveiled his stunning custom build based on the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. Named the Reload 650, this one-off machine was shown at ‘The One Motorcycle Show’ in the US.
Drawing strong inspiration from 1980s AMA racing motorcycles, the Reload 650 looks bold and purposeful. Thor Drake, who himself won the 1998 AMA 250GP national championship, has given the bike a proper racey appeal.
The rear end features a boxy tail unit and a solo seat setup that feels like a major throwback to the classic superbikes from that golden era.

To improve performance and looks, the custom comes with upgraded suspension, lightweight five-spoke Morris wheels, and a loud 2-into-1 S&S race exhaust. At the front, raised bar risers and a wide handlebar give the rider a comfortable, upright position even with the sporty styling.

The colour scheme shares some similarity with last year’s Shotgun 650 custom by Rough Crafts, but the Reload 650 feels far more radical. It has undergone extensive visual changes that make it stand out as a focused racing machine rather than just a stylish modification.

Exact mechanical specifications of the Reload 650 have not been revealed. However, they are likely to remain close to the stock Shotgun 650. The standard model is powered by a 648cc parallel-twin, air-oil cooled engine that produces around 46.4 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm of torque at 5,650 rpm. It weighs about 240 kg (kerb) and comes with a 6-speed gearbox.
