Yamaha XSR155 Olive-Green Solo-Camper Custom By BEAMS Unveiled in Japan

Yamaha Japan recently collaborated with 'HAPPY OUTSIDE BEAMS' to showcase a fresh custom scheme for the newly launched XSR155, heavily modifying its looks. While our Indian model is available with just a color option, officially called Greyish Green Metallic, the Japanese build sports a distinct Matte Olive Green look, officially dubbed as Cedar Green, along with other convenience additions, alongside the look.
The BEAMS edition features a graphic-minimum two-tone olive and black matte finish to create a militaristic and adventurous trail look, while our model leans heavily into bright retro aesthetics, making the difference in looks stark.
BEAMS applied this green not just to the tank, but extended it right down to a side panel, custom engine belly pan, alloy wheel rims, headlight shell, front fender, and exhaust end cap. Our model meanwhile, leaves the engine belly pan, and the front fender in a dark silhoutte, and also keeps the copper-gold coloured alloy wheels, and the headlight shell in silver.

The BEAMS edition also features a 'HAPPY OUTSIDE BEAMS" logo layout on the side panels, while also modifying the front end with a blacked-out headlight grille and Zeta handguards fitted with clear wind deflectors.
Replacing the stock round mirrors are aftermarket units sporting a carbon-fibre weave pattern on the rear shells. Also, to suit its camping theme, the rear seat carries a massive 45-litre cargo storage that is complemented with Helinox side bags.
This works in tandem with a saddlebag that flows parallel to the exhaust line.
While Yamaha India offers standard accessories like small fly-screens, this BEAMS XSR155 proves a cohesive matte paint job and matching lower cowls can completely alter the motorcycle's identity.
Sadly, this 'HAPPY OUTSIDE BEAMS' edition and its matte Cedar Green finish remain a Japan-exclusive collaboration. Indian enthusiasts wanting this exact off-grid aesthetic straight from the showroom floor will need to rely on custom aftermarket paint jobs.
