Pros & Cons Comparison

Things We Like in Mahindra Thar ROXX

Iconic and rugged design with increased practicality from 5 doors.
Available with powerful petrol and diesel engine options.

Things We Like in Tata Sierra

Throwback design that functional too with massive headroom for rear passengers
Tata's new 160 PS engine could be the force to reckon with

Things We Don't Like in Mahindra Thar ROXX

Still based on a ladder-on-frame chassis, which might result in some compromises in on-road dynamics compared to monocoque SUVs.
Rear visibility might be somewhat limited due to the design.

Things We Don't Like in Tata Sierra

That new Hyperion 1.5 engine will have to prove itself over time
We sincerely hope Tata's infamous service issues are updated this time around
