Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki retained its lead with 155,317 units sold in November, reflecting a 19% year-on-year growth and a 40% market share. The company continues to benefit from the popularity of models such as the Alto K10, Baleno, and Brezza, catering to a wide range of customers across hatchbacks, sedans, and compact SUVs. Its dominant position demonstrates strong brand loyalty and consistent consumer preference.

Mahindra & Mahindra

Mahindra & Mahindra regained the No. 2 spot with 54,005 SUVs sold, including 2,767 electric SUVs, marking a 20% increase from November 2024. With a 14% market share, M&M edged out Tata Motors by 2,333 units. Sales growth is fueled by demand for the Scorpio, Thar Roxx, and the new three-door Thar. The rising popularity of electric SUVs adds another dimension to M&M’s strong performance in the competitive market.

Tata Motors

Tata Motors sold 51,672 passenger vehicles, including 6,083 electric vehicles, achieving 22% year-on-year growth. Its portfolio spans the Nexon, Punch, Harrier, Curvv, Safari, Altroz, Tiago, and Tigor, offering options in SUVs, sedans, and hatchbacks. Despite having outsold M&M in September and October, Tata slipped to third place in November, showing how competition in the PV segment remains intense.

Hyundai Motor India

Hyundai Motor India delivered 49,295 vehicles, achieving 9% year-on-year growth and a 13% market share. The company’s lineup is led by the Creta midsize SUV, followed by the Venue, Exter, and Aura sedan. While it dropped to fourth place, Hyundai continues to see steady demand due to its combination of SUVs and sedans appealing to family and urban buyers alike.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor

Toyota Kirloskar Motor recorded 27,660 units sold, reflecting a 27% year-on-year growth and a 7% market share. The Innova Hycross and Crysta remain the top models, while the Hyryder midsize SUV has seen rising popularity, even surpassing the MPV in October on the wholesales front. Toyota’s performance underscores growing interest in premium SUVs and family-oriented vehicles.

Kia India

Kia India retailed 23,675 units, marking a 24% year-on-year growth and a 6% market share. The Sonet compact SUV continues to drive sales, while the Carens MPV, strengthened by the Carens Clavis and Clavis EV, along with the Seltos midsize SUV, supports the company’s strong performance. Kia’s combination of popular SUVs and electric options continues to attract buyers in the mid-segment market.

Skoda

Skoda recorded 5,941 units, driven mainly by the strong response to the new Kylaq along with steady demand for the Slavia and Kushaq. Better availability and the growing appeal of its newer design language helped the brand post one of its best monthly runs this year.

MG

MG ended the month with 5,754 units, supported by the Hector’s stable sales and fresh traction for the Comet in urban markets. The Gloster and Astor added to the mix, giving the brand enough momentum to maintain consistent monthly performance.

Honda

Honda delivered 5,204 units, reflecting stable interest in the City and Elevate, while the Amaze continued to attract compact sedan buyers. The brand’s predictable ownership experience and cleaner model lineup helped it maintain a steady footprint.

Renault

Renault closed at 3,662 units, carried by the value driven trio of the Kwid, Kiger, and Triber. Despite a limited lineup, its affordability factor and compact size advantage kept the brand relevant among first time and budget focused buyers.
