The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced an increase in the fee for the FASTag Annual Pass.
FASTag Annual Pass Price
Starting April 1, 2026, the cost will rise from the existing Rs 3,000 to Rs 3,075 for the financial year 2026-27.
This change aligns with the guidelines in the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008.
The updated fee applies only to non-commercial private vehicles, such as cars, jeeps, and vans, that have a valid FASTag installed.

FASTag Annual Pass Validity
With this pass, drivers pay a single amount upfront and enjoy hassle-free travel for up to one year or 200 toll crossings, whichever comes first. It removes the requirement for repeated FASTag recharges during that period.
The scheme is accessible at around 1,150 toll plazas on national highways and expressways nationwide. More than 56 lakh private vehicle owners have already adopted the FASTag Annual Pass, reflecting strong popularity since its introduction.

How To Activate FASTag Annual Pass
FASTag activation is straightforward. Users have to pay the fee via the Rajmarg Yatra mobile app or the official NHAI website, and the pass becomes active on their linked FASTag within two hours.
This setup allows smooth renewal or transition for current subscribers.
Launched on August 15, 2025, the FASTag Annual Pass has gained quick traction by offering a convenient and economical choice for regular highway users across India.
