Royal Enfield has introduced the new GT-R750 race prototype at the 2026 Continental GT Cup. The sixth edition of the popular one-make championship will see professional riders compete on this bike, while amateurs continue with the proven GT-R650.
Registrations for the event are open.
The GT-R750 is built on a new 750cc parallel-twin engine platform. It is expected to deliver around 55 bhp and 65 Nm of torque, offering a clear performance jump over the 650cc model.
Race-spec upgrades include better suspension, twin front disc brakes with ByBre calipers, and a tuned chassis for sharp handling on circuits like Kari Motor Speedway. The bike keeps the classic Continental GT cafe racer look with clip-on handlebars, a sculpted tank, and twin exhausts, but it comes with race-focused modifications for safety and speed.

Upcoming Royal Enfield Continental GT 750

This race prototype closely mirrors the upcoming road-going Continental GT 750, which has been spied testing in India and overseas. Spy shots show similar styling, including options for faired and non-faired versions.
The road model is also likely to use the new 750cc engine and upgraded brakes. Recent test mules featured a dual-pod analogue instrument console with small digital displays, suggesting Royal Enfield may offer variants with different levels of equipment.
The GT 750 prototypes spotted abroad and in India hint at multiple versions to suit different riders. While the race bike is stripped down for competition, the road version will retain the retro cafe racer charm with modern improvements for better performance and comfort.
Expect a production-ready model to be revealed later this year, with a launch by early 2027. It will be priced at a noticeable premium over the Continental GT 650, likely around or upwards of Rs 3.8 lakh ex-showroom.
