Royal Enfield is gearing up to introduce its first motorcycle from the Flying Flea electric sub-brand - the Flying Flea C6.
Unveiled globally at EICMA 2024, this retro-inspired electric motorcycle pays homage to the World War 2-era Flying Flea, blending heritage styling with modern EV technology.
CEO Mr B. Govindarajan shared some important details about the C6’s launch timeline, stating that it “is almost ready for production,” and “you will see in the next quarter time window.”
This points to launch in April 2026. “We will build it slowly and steadily,” the CEO added, signalling a phased rollout starting from Chennai and other metro cities to ensure robust service support.
The C6 stands out with its lightweight construction and distinctive design elements, including a round LED headlamp, sculpted battery housing mimicking a classic fuel tank, girder-style front forks, and minimalist bodywork.
It could offer effortless city riding with a low seat height, single-seat layout, and agile handling. Battery details and specifications should be revealed around the time of its launch.

Positioned as a lifestyle vehicle rather than a pure commuter, the Flying Flea C6 is expected to carry a competitive price tag of under or around ₹2 lakh (ex-showroom).
Royal Enfield also plans to launch the S6, the second scrambler model from the Flying Flea range, later this year, “around the time of EICMA,” Mr B. Govindarajan said. This indicates a launch around November.
The S6 will be positioned above the C6 in the Flying Flea lineup, priced higher at around ₹2.3 lakh (ex-showroom).
To accommodate these two new electric motorcycles and potential future models, production will ramp up at Royal Enfield's expanded Cheyyar facility in Tamil Nadu.
