Ola Electric has launched the S1 X+ 5.2 kWh at an introductory price of Rs 1,29,999, valid only till 15 April 2026, so prospective buyers have a tight window to lock in the launch price.
The highlight of this variant is its 4680 Bharat Cell, which Ola says is developed in-house, and is already seen in the S1 Pro+ and Roadster X+. It now sits at the top of Ola’s S1 X lineup, which also includes 2 kWh, 3 kWh, 4 kWh, and S1 X+ 4 kWh variants.
New S1 X+ 5.2 kWh Performance and Range

The scooter is powered by an 11kW mid-drive motor, paired with an integrated motor control unit, a setup that sits above basic commuter-grade electric scooters in outright performance.
It also gets Brake-by-Wire alongside a front disc brake, which Ola positions as a control and efficiency-focused feature.
Consequently, Ola claims an IDC range of 320 km and a top speed of 125 km/h, but naturally, the real-world range will vary.
Compared with the S1 X+ 4 kWh variant, the new 5.2 kWh version is the longer-range option in the lineup.

What It Means for Buyers
Ola handles cell development, battery engineering, and vehicle manufacturing under one roof. Whether this translates into a better long-term ownership experience for buyers is something the market will judge, but the S1 X+ 5.2 kWh at this price is a technically loaded proposition that deserves some consideration.
