Hero Launches HF Deluxe and Splendor+ Flex Fuel Versions, Starting From Rs 72,792

Hero has launched the Flex Fuel versions of it’s highest selling commuter motorcycles, HF Deluxe and Splendor+, supporting up to 85 percent ethanol-blended fuel. Both bikes also feature updated electronics, revised fuel systems, and a slight power bump over the standard, E20 compatible versions.
The HF Deluxe Flex fuel is priced at Rs. 72,792 (ex-showroom), a mere Rs. 172 over the standard HF Deluxe. The Splendor+ Flex Fuel priced at Rs. 82,810 (ex-showroom), comes at a larger Rs. 5,153 premium over its standard counterpart.

Hero has made extensive upgrades underneath the skin to enable E85 compatibility. These include a revamped the fuel system with a new fuel pump, new secondary air filter, multiple ethanol resistant components, and ECU calibration.
Both HF Deluxe Flex Fuel and Splendor+ Flex Fuel now see an increased power output, producing 8.4 bhp and 8.3 Nm of torque, while the standard versions develop 7.9 bhp and 8.05 Nm of torque.
The launch of these motorcycles align with the Indian government’s push for higher ethanol blending beyond E20. Both these models are future ready for when ethanol blends such as E27, E30 or E85 are introduced more widely in the Indian market.
