- New Dominar 400 Engine Specifications
The Bajaj Dominar 400 has just become a considerably more attractive buy. The updated model, now powered by a smaller 350cc engine, has begun arriving at select dealerships across India, and its ex-showroom price has dropped to Rs. 2.03 lakh, down from Rs. 2.40 lakh for the outgoing 400cc older iteration.
What makes this interesting is that Bajaj has chosen to keep the '400' name intact.
Despite running a 350cc motor, the motorcycle continues to wear the 'Dominar 400' badge, a deliberate call by Bajaj to avoid any perception that the bike has taken a step back in terms of engine performance.

New Dominar 400 Engine Specifications
On paper, the smaller engine may actually hold its own. Leaked specifications suggest the new 349.13cc motor puts out 40.4 bhp and 33.2 Nm.
Bajaj is yet to make an official announcement on the launch or release full specifications. Beyond the engine, the rest of the motorcycle is expected to carry over largely unchanged.
In addition, whether the drop in displacement affects buyer sentiment or sales, remains to be seen. For now, though, the Dominar 400 is sitting at its lowest-ever price point, and that alone should turn a few heads.
