Ather To Unveil Its First Mass Market Electric Scooter On August 29

Ather Energy has declared that it will launch its inaugural mass-market electric scooter on August 29. The latest model will be displayed at the fourth edition of the Ather Community Day in Bengaluru.
Ather’s upcoming mass-market product will be the initial model to utilize the entirely new EL platform. It has been developed to enhance scalability, adaptability, and production efficiency.
Ather EL01 Pricing, Features And Specs
Prototypes of the Ather EL01 have been seen undergoing tests. The e-scooter features a more traditional design focused on improving usability.
It features a longer wheelbase and a broader seat in comparison to the 450X.
The EL platform accommodates batteries between 2 kWh and 5 kWh and will feature an electric motor mounted on a swingarm.

The EL01 will feature a telescopic fork along with a solitary rear shock absorber, meanwhile the braking system will include a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the back.
Reports suggest that it could be priced close to the Rs 1 lakh mark. At this price range, the EL is expected to compete with TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and Ola S1 X.
