The 2026 India spec Kawasaki Z900 delivers a major step up in electronics, styling and overall refinement while keeping its iconic 948 cc inline four engine at its core.
The cheapest four cylinder bike on sale motor produces about 124 hp and 97.4 Nm and now works with a ride by wire system that unlocks cruise control and a smooth bi directional quickshifter.
Kawasaki has added a 5 axis IMU that introduces cornering ABS and lean sensitive traction control, giving riders stronger safety in fast bends.
The bike gets four riding modes, a brighter full LED lighting setup and a new 5 inch TFT screen with Bluetooth support through the Rideology app.
Styling has been sharpened with a redesigned headlamp, revised tank shrouds, new radiator guards and a cleaner tail section. The bike sits on a trellis frame with 41 mm USD forks and a horizontal back link monoshock that together keep handling light and stable.
Braking is handled by twin 300 mm discs with radially mounted Nissin calipers and Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tyres provide better corner grip.
For 2025 Kawasaki offers two dual tone colours, METALLIC MATTE GRAPHENESTEEL GRAY/METALLIC FLAT SPARK BLACK and CANDY LIME GREEN/METALLIC CARBON GRAY
The updated Z900 is priced at about Rs 9.52 lakh ex showroom.
