Skoda has confirmed that the Kodiaq RS will launch in India in Q2 2026, likely by June, as a limited-volume CBU to retain full global specifications. This performance-focused flagship builds on the new-generation Kodiaq but significantly raises the bar with a more powerful version of the 2.0 TSI engine, paired with all-wheel drive for proper hot-SUV credentials. 

It is aimed at buyers who find the standard Kodiaq refined but want more punch, sharper handling, and a more aggressive character, all while retaining family-friendly seven-seat practicality. Expected pricing is in the ₹55–60 lakh ex-showroom range, reflecting its imported status and exclusivity. While the regular Kodiaq will be locally assembled, the RS is positioned as a niche enthusiast product in a segment dominated by comfort-oriented SUVs.
