The Super Carry uses the Advanced K Series Dual Jet Dual VVT 1197 cc 4 cylinder petrol engine producing 59.4 kW or 80.7 PS at 6000 rpm and 104.4 Nm torque at 2900 rpm. It is paired with a 5 speed manual transmission and a single plate dry friction clutch.

This setup delivers a top speed of around 80 km per hour and 34 percent gradeability, making it capable on loaded climbs. 

The CNG version with 71 ps and 96 nm offers similar usability with lower running costs and includes an additional 5 litre emergency petrol tank and a 70 litre CNG tank. 

With a gross vehicle weight of around 1600 kg, it supports a solid payload of up to about 750 kg in petrol form and 630 kg with CNG engine

In terms of weight, the kerb weight ranges from 775 kg for the petrol chassis to 990 kg for the CNG variant, while the gross vehicle weight stands at 1620 kg across all versions. Payload capacity goes up to 750 kg for petrol variants and 630 kg for CNG variants. 

Suspension And steering duties are handled by MacPherson strut with Coil Spring in font,, Leaf Spring Rigid Axle at rear and a Manual-Rack and Pinion across all Super Carry models

Braking duties are handled by ventilated disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear

Tyres in every case are 155R13 LT 8PR standard size.

The cabin is designed for comfort during long work hours. It offers seating for driver plus one, along with useful features like sun visors, a cabin light with 2 position switch, and easy to reach controls. The layout is simple and functional, using durable materials suited for commercial use

There are plenty of molded interior spaces to carry everyday items. The flat and wide seats, as per Maruti, are adjustable and come with a special heat resistant fabric that keeps engine heat at bay.

The Maruti Suzuki Super Carry measures 3800 mm in length, 1562 mm in width, and 1883 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2110 mm. It has a front track of 1345 mm and a rear track of 1330 mm, along with a tight turning radius of 4.3 metres, making it easy to handle in city conditions.

The deck dimensions for cargo variants include a length of 2183 mm, width of 1488 mm, and height of 300 mm, while chassis variants do not have a fixed load deck.

The Super Carry features a strong and functional exterior with a sturdy build meant for daily heavy use. It gets large ORVMs on both sides for better visibility, front 2 speed wipers with washer, mud flaps, rope hooks for securing loads, tailgate opening with handle and chain support, rear fender, and a spare tyre. The design stays compact yet tough, with a short turning radius that helps in narrow streets. 

Safety features include segment first Electronic Stability Program for better control and stability. It also comes with over 18 safety features, a robust chassis frame, engine immobilizer for theft protection, front disc brakes, and a Load Sensing Proportioning Valve system
