Maruti Suzuki Fronx Facelift Key Specifications
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Facelift Overview

The Fronx facelift is highly anticipated as it has sold over 400,000 units since it was first launched just 3 years ago. The reason behinds its insane popularity is, Well, first it comes with a sporty Boosterjet engine, second there’s a die-hard aftermarket for Fronx customizations, and third its price which just starts at 5.99 lakh.
The upcoming Fronx facelift is expected to get minor cosmetic changes like lights, grille etc. A large infotainment screen is not out of the question.
Although it’s pretty far-fetched, the updated Fronx could or rather should get a 5-star BNCAP rating as the current model scored just 1 star in ANCAP tests.
Engine and Performance
Engine and Performance
Our teammate Arjun spotted a hybrid test mule of the Fronx undergoing testing near Manesar. There is no official word yet on what its specs will be, but it will likely feature a 1 kWh battery pack mated to a 1.2-litre engine. The Fronx is already quite fuel-efficient, so we can expect the upcoming Fronx Hybrid to deliver at least 30 km/l in real-world conditions.
The test vehicle we captured was using an existing Fronx as its mule, but it had a curious exhaust setup underneath and ADAS-like sensors, which were covered, along with a LiDAR unit on top. This could mean that Maruti is trying to develop its own ADAS technology, likely to keep costs in check.
