Hardik Pandya has added the new Mercedes-Benz V-Class to his car collection, and as per media reports, he has become the first owner of the luxury MPV in India. The cricketer, who captains the Mumbai Indians in the IPL, took delivery of the vehicle recently. Reports indicate he gifted it to his girlfriend, Mahika Sharma. Photos from the handover ceremony at the dealership have been shared online and have gone viral.

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class carries an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.40 crore, and is built at Mercedes-Benz's Chakan facility in Pune.
Mercedes-Benz V-Class: Exterior and Design
It is offered in India only in the extra-long wheelbase version, which measures 5,370 mm in length with a 3,430 mm wheelbase. This makes it the longest Mercedes-Benz model on sale in the country. The fully-loaded AMG Line trim comes standard, featuring an upright stance, large grille, and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin focuses on rear-seat comfort with options for four-seat or six-seat layouts. The lounge seats offer electric adjustment, recline, massage, ventilation, and heating functions. Third-row passengers in the six-seat version also get ventilated seats. Other features include twin 12.3-inch digital displays, Burmester sound system, 64-colour ambient lighting, three-zone climate control, and Nappa leather upholstery.
Safety equipment covers seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control. In addition, the model earned a 5-star rating in Euro NCAP tests.
This purchase follows Pandya's recent addition of a Ferrari 12Cilindri. The V-Class sits in the luxury MPV segment alongside rivals like the Toyota Vellfire and Lexus LM.
Mercedes-Benz V-Class: Engine and Performance
Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine. The petrol variant produces 228 bhp with an additional 20 bhp from the mild-hybrid system, while the diesel delivers around 234-237 hp. Both are paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
