The Glanza uses a single four-cylinder petrol engine across all variants. In petrol form it produces 90 hp at 6000 rpm and 113 Nm at 4400 rpm.
When running on CNG the same engine is tuned to deliver 77 hp and 98.5 Nm.

Inside the Glanza, the dashboard uses a clean, driver-focused layout with soft-touch materials on the upper section and easy-to-reach controls.
For the driver, the steering wheel is tilt-adjustable and, on higher variants, includes mounted audio and calling buttons. Just ahead, the instrument cluster is a monochrome or colour display.
Centrally, infotainment is handled by a touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity and Toyota i-Connect features for remote lock/unlock and vehicle status. Depending on the trim, the touchscreen measures 7 inches on mid variants and 9 inches on the top variant.
As for seating, front seats offer good cushioning with height adjustment on the driver side in higher trims; the rear bench gets 60:40 split folding and adjustable headrests.
Meanwhile, rear passengers get generous legroom and headroom thanks to the long wheelbase, plus rear AC vents on mid and top variants for better comfort on longer trips.

Moving along, the side body gets body-coloured door handles and mirrors, flush door glass and 16-inch alloy wheels shod with 195/55 R16 tyres on higher variants.
At the rear, LED tail lamps and a sculpted bumper give a tidy, modern finish while the rear defogger and high-mounted stop lamp add functional value.

For impact protection, all variants get driver and co-driver airbags, while higher trims add side and curtain airbags for a total of 6.

However, note that the model has not been tested by Global or Bharat NCAP yet.

The Glanza’s closest rivals in the Indian premium hatchback segment are the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz.
The Baleno shares the identical powertrain, dimensions and many features but undercuts the Glanza on price and offers a wider dealer and service network across smaller towns.
The i20 counters with a more upmarket cabin finish, additional engine choices including a turbo-petrol and slightly more powerful options, though its rear space is tighter than the Glanza’s.
The Altroz leads on boot space (345 litres versus the Glanza’s 318 litres) and has a strong structural safety reputation from earlier Global NCAP tests, but it lacks a factory CNG option and has fewer convenience features in comparable trims.
