The Nissan Terrano was discontinued in India in 2020 due to stricter BS6 emission and crash safety norms. Based on the Renault Duster platform, the Terrano was known for its tough suspension setup, 205 mm ground clearance and reliable diesel engine options. It came with a 1.5-litre diesel engine in 85 PS and 110 PS tunes, along with a 1.6-litre petrol motor producing 104 PS.

 Transmission choices included 5-speed and 6-speed manuals plus an AMT gearbox. Even today, the Terrano remains popular in the used car market, with prices ranging from around Rs 3 lakh to Rs 7 lakh depending on model year and condition.
